“Neurofeedback therapy is one very effective way to increase well-being.” - Kayla Taylor
What do you think of when you hear the term ‘mental health’?
Do you think:
Psychological wellness?
General happiness?
Self-acceptance?
Ability to handle life’s stressors?
Freedom to make choices?
Ability to pursue goals?
Growth and learning about one’s self?
Solid relationships and positive connections to others?
Other?
To some degree, ALL of the above contribute to (and result in) positive mental health.
It’s quite common to think about what mental health is NOT… Mental health concerns or disorders. The first two things that come to mind are anxiety and depression. In fact, these are the most prevalent mental health disorders in the general population, with a cited 301 million and 280 million people worldwide living with these disorders, respectively.

Is there a benefit to?:
Working on our mental health not only to avoid or reduce mental health challenges but also to increase positive mental health.
Increasing our well-being even if it’s not that bad to begin with.
Achieving peak performance in life (whether that is physical, cognitive, or psychological).
Absolutely!
It can be done on your own, but we find the most success for those who solicit professional support. At Sano State Taylored Psychology, we are mental health specialists who are educated and trained in psychological disorders and mental well-being. There are many ways to help support our clientele, and Neurofeedback therapy is one very effective way to increase well-being.
Neurofeedback is a safe and non-invasive therapy that uses EEG technology to help train the brainwaves to produce more optimal levels, which then has direct outcomes on how we feel, think, and behave.
The most consistent feedback we receive is that people are generally feeling better. Who doesn't want that?
When we ask people to specify, often we will see results such as these:
